Bare fiber Spindle Modules are used with the ULTRAPOL Fiber Lensing System. Each module is made to a specific fiber diameter. The complete module consists two parts

BACK-END - which holds and rotates with the fiber during the lensing operation

FRONT-END which includes a ceramic ferrule of the correct fiber diameter and a special mounting bracket. The fiber rotates in the stationary ferrule as it is fed into the ULTRAPOL's lapping surface to shape and/or surface finish the fiber.
